DIN INSPECTED AND CERTIFIED
As a manufacturer of high-quality stainless steel products, Edelstahl Service Center Burg GmbH is particularly obliged to maintain a high quality standard, which we achieve thanks to our adherence to deadlines, flexibility and optimal product quality, not to mention adequate environmental protection.
We usually source our primary materials from certified material producers in accordance with AD 2000 Data Sheet W0 and DGRL 97/23/EC.
Every single ESC Burg GmbH employee knows the high requirements of this series of standards and is fully entitled in accordance with the restamping agreement (agreement on the proper restamping of materials and products for pressure equipment in accordance with the AD 2000 Code – Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC).
The ESC Burg management system is regularly certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015.
All of the company's employees are aware of the importance of environmental protection. The scope of activities of ESC Burg GmbH including our systems, equipment, processes and activities are analysed in terms of their environmental impact and the environmental aspects determined.
FROM ROLLING MILL TO MODERN STAINLESS STEEL SERVICE CENTRE
QUICK, FLEXIBLE, PROFESSIONAL
The history of the company dates back to 1908 and the foundation of the Berlin-Burger railway. In 1937, the company was developed into a rolling mill. In the 1990s, the Georgsmarienhütte company closed the rolling mill and transformed it into a stainless steel service centre.
ECS Burg has been a family-run medium-sized enterprise since the beginning of 2013. Set on a profitable course, substantial investments were made in, among other things, strengthening the prefabrication capacities, which allowed the company to specialise further in the handling and processing of stainless steel products.
High reliability and a very well-stocked warehouse ensure fast, flexible delivery. Long-established sources of supply ensure competitive prices. The company currently employs 35 well-trained, motivated members of staff.
In 2020 and 2021, with the support of the state of Saxony-Anhalt and the EU (EFRE / ESF), we have again implemented an extensive investment program (XXL fiber laser, retrofit control cut-to-length-line, 3 new (side) forklifts, new energy-saving lighting, new energy-saving heating, new sewage treatment plant, new tools for various units, etc.), which will significantly increase the company's performance and secure the future.
