How do we cut our steel plates at ESC Burg?
We use various processes for producing made-to-measure steel plates. Alongside size, material thickness plays the main role; the desired shape also influences which process we use. We work with the following machines, among others:
Laser line
All sheets with a material thickness between 0.5 mm and 30 mm can be cut with our Bystronic Fiber Laser XXL. With it, we can cut sheets up to 2,500 mm wide and 6,200 mm long exactly.
Plasma line
We like to use our plasma line for complex shapes. It can cut sheets up to 3,000 mm wide and 12,500 mm long to customer specification.
Precision guillotine shear
It can cut sheets with the following dimensions: width up to 2,000 mm and length up to 6,000 mm.
Depending on the order we have received, we also use a cut-to-length line. The goal is always to achieve the best possible result.
Further production processes for steel plates
As a service provider for everything stainless steel, we can offer you more than just the cutting of a made-to-measure 10 mm steel plate. We have built up two further production areas whose services are at your disposal.
Firstly, we offer forming: should you need not a plate but a U-profile or L-profile, we can bend it into shape with absolute uniformity - with professional machines for that too.
We are also happy to take care of the surfaces of steel plates. We use various grinding processes and can also offer you foil protection or pickling of sheets.
