Since 2013, ESC Burg has been run as a family-owned company - with extensive investment in processing, most recently in an XXL fibre laser from Bystronic.

  1. 1908

    Founding of the Berlin-Burg railway

    The origin of today's site: the industrial history in Burg near Magdeburg begins with the Berlin-Burg railway.

  2. 1937

    Expansion as a rolling mill

    The site is expanded into a rolling mill and shapes steel processing in the region for decades.

  3. 1990s

    Transformation into a stainless steel service center

    Under Georgsmarienhütte, the plant is converted into a stainless steel service center; the rolling mill is closed.

  4. since 2013

    Family-run medium-sized company

    Since 2013, ESC Burg has been run as a family-owned company - with extensive investment in processing, most recently in an XXL fibre laser from Bystronic.
