Whether you are a professional tradesperson or a hobbyist: if stainless steel sheets are not your daily bread, you need a strong, reliable partner for 4 mm stainless steel sheet and other sheet types. You should not spend your time working on unfamiliar terrain yourself. Stick to your core activity and order stainless steel sheets from the professionals.
So if you are renovating your own property or need a cut of 4 mm stainless steel sheet for your hobby, concentrate on measuring correctly and installing our product after delivery. You do not have to deal with buying sheet and tools or attempting to cut sheet metal flawlessly - we are happy to take on these work steps for you.
We produce every 4 mm stainless steel sheet to customer order
Although we offer fair prices, we are not comparable with a discounter. While they rely on volume to bring prices down, we rely on advice and quality. That may sound odd at first, but it is precisely our recipe for success. We do not prescribe sheet dimensions to our customers: we produce every sheet on behalf of one of our customers. Our flexibility makes this possible.
Of course, it would also be easier for us to cut 4 mm stainless steel sheet in large batches. But we recognised that with many smaller orders we can reach far more customers. With lean, efficient production, we can implement our customers' individual wishes in the shortest possible time - which convinces more and more people.
From ordering to dispatch of a plate of 4 mm stainless steel sheet, as a rule only 48 hours pass with us. You can therefore be sure of holding a sheet ordered from us in your hands within a few days. We are probably even faster than if you were to create all the conditions for cutting at home - because you cannot buy stainless steel sheet in every DIY store around the corner.
Purchase advice is always included with us
We are happy to use the internet to inform you about our products and services. But we are not a classic online shop where you can order around the clock. Firstly, personal contact with our customers is important to us. And secondly, we do not sell standard products that can be ordered without advice. We process high-quality stainless steel sheets intended for very different fields of application.
If you want to buy 4 mm stainless steel sheet from us, you must first contact our sales team. The fastest and easiest way is by telephone. There is no call centre waiting at the other end of the line: you always speak directly to one of our well-trained employees, most of whom have been working with stainless steel for many years. This matters to us, because only then can we be sure you are well advised.
With a few targeted questions, our employee will find out which sheet is best suited to you. It is not about selling you a particular product - it makes no difference to us at all which grade or alloy we supply you with. All that matters to us is that our product serves you well for a long time.
4 mm stainless steel sheets: grades & types
Most people know that stainless steel is corrosion-resistant - it is generally described as rustproof. However, the various alloys differ considerably in their material properties in some cases. That is why it is so important for us to speak with you before we accept your order. We sell stainless steel sheet 1.4301 in 4 mm thickness particularly often, for example. This alloy is probably better known under its trade name V2A. Apart from seawater, this stainless steel is extremely corrosion-resistant and can be welded and processed very well.
Many customers also order 4 mm sheet in stainless steel 1.4404 from us. This is a stainless steel with very high corrosion resistance: even in an environment with a moderate proportion of chlorine and salt, stainless steel sheet 1.4404 can be used. In an environment containing halogens and non-oxidising acids, it performs optimally.
If you want to buy 4 mm stainless steel sheet for a location with great heat, stainless steel 1.4841 could be the right choice for you. This austenitic heat-resistant steel has very good corrosion resistance even at high temperatures. The common name for this chromium-nickel steel is Permodur 4841.
Almost no limits to shape and size
Even though it is naturally easiest to cut a sheet in a rectangular shape, we have far more on offer. Of course, you can also get a round 4 mm stainless steel sheet from us - regardless of size. We invest constantly in our machine park and can cut stainless steel plates several metres in size. You need a large-format 4 mm stainless steel plate? We can take that on for you and get it safely to its destination.
We can also offer you forming at the same time. After all, a flat stainless steel plate is not always what is needed: many of our customers also order L-profiles and U-profiles. The latter are used above all where liquids need to be channelled - for example in a gutter. Surface treatment can also be carried out at our plant. You receive the sheet delivered exactly as you want to install it.
The decisive question: what does an individual sheet cost with us?
There is of course no flat answer to this - nor would that be honest, because we would then have to work with assumptions. That would contradict our principle of only invoicing each customer for what we actually deliver. But don't worry: just because we calculate every price for a 4 mm stainless steel sheet individually does not mean you have to wait for our offer. We can quote the price during the non-binding phone call itself.
Because we purchase and process large quantities of stainless steel, we achieve attractive purchasing conditions - and our customers naturally benefit, because we are happy to pass on this advantage. With a permanent stock of more than 2,000 tonnes of stainless steel sheet in various grades, we can react quickly to most customer requests. Should you ever need a special standard, we can also procure it with a little lead time. The focus of our products, however, is on European standards, which we source exclusively from European brand manufacturers. Do you have a question about a 4 mm stainless steel sheet? We can certainly answer it.
